These works were created with pigments and dyes grown in and/or collected from my immediate environment. I tend to plants in gardens, gather materials found in my neighborhood and further afield, and pull materials from the waste-stream. Materials are then refined and reformed into inks and paints. These processes create a point of contact for me explore my sense of belonging in and relationship to the 'more than human’ world and with humans throughout time.
