I tend, gather and refine materials from my immediate environment for use in my work. These processes create a point of contact for me to explore my relationship to and sense of belonging within the ‘more-than-human’ world.
The images I make are intuitively drawn from salient moments of connection or alternately dissonance and longing. They are also manifestations of the relationships I am building through careful observation, listening and the physical work of craft. I see my work as a practice of experiencing and exploring the aliveness of the world.
